Boot faults
iPhone stuck on the Apple logo — the boot is failing at a specific point.
A boot loop means the phone starts, hits a fault, and resets — over and over. The fault can be software, a failing component pulling a rail down mid-boot, or storage trouble. The repair route matters because the wrong first move (a forced restore) can erase data that was recoverable.
The fixed £35 diagnostic covers the assessment described below and both-way UK tracked shipping. If you approve the repair quote, the fee is deducted from that quote. No repair work starts without your approval.
The symptom
Boot-loop patterns
How far the phone gets before restarting is diagnostic information:
- Apple logo appears, holds, then the phone restarts — repeatedly
- Logo flashes only briefly before going dark
- Boots occasionally, then loops again days later
- Looping began after a drop, liquid exposure, an update or a repair
Likely causes
What interrupts a boot
A component failing under load
Some components pass the initial power-on but fail as the boot ramps demand — the phone resets at the same point every time. Bench current profiling catches this signature.
Storage (NAND) trouble
If the boot stalls reading storage, the phone loops. This is the case where a hasty restore destroys data — we assess before anything is written.
Liquid or drop damage
Corrosion and cracked joints commonly present as boot loops rather than outright death. The loop is the board limping.
A failed update
Software loops exist too — and they are the cheap outcome. Diagnosis confirms software-only before you pay for board work, not after.
What the diagnostic finds
What the £35 assessment actually does.
- Boot-stage identification: where exactly the phone gives up, measured, not guessed
- Current profiling through the boot ramp to catch components failing under load
- A data-first decision path — nothing destructive is attempted before the finding is written
- A clear verdict: software fix, board repair, or data-recovery-first, with the quote
The findings arrive in writing with the quote. You approve, decline or extend — the fee terms are explained in the FAQ.
Describe the fault once — the booking form fills itself.
Tech2Fix Intelligent Intake reads your description, identifies the likely service route and pre-fills the booking for you to review. Completed repairs carry a 90-day warranty on the specific fault repaired.

iPhone stuck on logo / boot loop FAQ
Will my data survive a boot loop repair?
Data preservation is the default posture. We identify the fault before any restore or destructive step, and where the storage is intact — which is common — repair proceeds around your data, not through it.
Apple or a shop offered a restore. Should I try it first?
Only if your data is fully backed up. A restore fixes software loops but permanently erases the phone — if the loop was hardware, you lose the data and keep the fault. If the data matters, diagnose first.
It loops only sometimes. Still worth sending in?
Intermittent loops are usually early hardware warnings — a joint or component on the way out. They tend to become permanent, and they are easier to fix while the phone still boots.
