Warranty length
Completed Tech2Fix repairs include 90-day warranty cover for the specific fault repaired. The warranty begins when tracked delivery confirms that the repaired device has been returned to the customer.
The warranty is attached to the repair record, warranty code and repair report. It is not a general device insurance policy.
What is covered
- The same fault or repaired area that Tech2Fix repaired.
- Workmanship issues directly related to the completed repair.
- Parts supplied and fitted by Tech2Fix as part of the completed repair, where those parts are the cause of the issue.
What is not covered
- New faults unrelated to the original repair.
- Liquid damage, impact damage, pressure damage, bending, misuse or further physical damage after the device is returned.
- Opening, tampering, attempted repair, modification or part replacement by another party after the Tech2Fix repair.
- Faults that could not be fully tested because a passcode, account access or required testing condition was not available.
- Battery wear, cosmetic condition or unrelated consumable wear unless that item was specifically replaced by Tech2Fix and is the source of the issue.
- Data recovery jobs, temporary recovery work, or recovered data delivery, unless a separate repair was quoted, approved and completed.
How to claim
- Use the warranty QR code or claim link from your repair report.
- Enter the warranty code and the email address used for the original booking.
- Describe the fault and confirm the warranty declaration.
- If the claim is eligible, Tech2Fix will provide the correct shipping route and inspect the device when it arrives.
Shipping during warranty
- Day 0 to day 30: Tech2Fix covers the warranty shipping route.
- Day 31 to day 90: the customer pays the current £9.99 warranty postage charge upfront and Tech2Fix supplies the labels for the claim route.
- After day 90: the warranty route is expired and any new issue should be booked as a new diagnostic assessment.
Inspection outcome
After inspection, Tech2Fix will confirm whether the issue is covered by the warranty. If covered, the device will be repaired, reworked or otherwise handled under the warranty route. If not covered, Tech2Fix will explain the reason and confirm the available options, which may include a new quote, return, or another agreed route.
No questions asked, but still inspected
The claim route is designed to be simple and frictionless. Customers do not need to argue their case before opening a claim. The device is still inspected because the warranty only covers the specific repair carried out and does not cover new damage, unrelated faults or later third-party work.
Your statutory rights
This warranty is in addition to your statutory consumer rights. It does not replace or reduce rights you may have under UK consumer law.
